ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Jake
informed us that in Nov. we will be having our yearly auction. So if you have
anything lying around you don’t use, bring it and auction it off. All proceeds
go to the club. It is our annual fund raiser.
We are in
need of a demo for Dec. So if you want to volunteer see Jake.
Old
Business
Bob Wiesdel brought in samples of the shirt for
members to try on and order the color they want. If you haven’t ordered one and
still want to, see Bob, he’ll give you the details.
Election of officers took place. The slate of officers that was presented
was elected since there were no volunteers from the floor for any of the
offices. Our new officers are:
President – Ron Hudson
Vice-President – John O’Neil
Secretary - Muriel Kummer
Treasurer – Pat Boggan
Webmaster – Kurt Hertzog
Jim Hilburger reported on the woodworking show. Because the entrance to
the show was late, the response of workers was low. Thank you to those of you
that did work. The new owners of the show allowed us to sell for Make-A Wish.
Thanks to Jim there was product to sell. $535.00 was raised.
Lance Eggleston suggested the club participate in a design challenge. He
supplied oak blocks for members to design a form out of. He is offering cash
prizes to the winners. The form can be anything the members want to make in any
venue. The only stipulation is he gets to keep the forms.
