We are a woodturning club located in the Buffalo New York area. We meet on the second tuesday of each month at Hamburg Middle School.
The purpose of the club is best said by our bylaws.
"The purpose of the organization shall to provide a forum for the learning and enhancement of the
woodturning skills of the members."
Woodturners II, as we are known, started when Western New York Woodturners became very large and could not accomodate everyone who wanted to join. Our club has grown
into an organization where members come to learn about woodturning, socialize and generally have some fun with other members. We have a monthly demonstration along with a business meeting and show and tell. All skill levels of turners are welcome. From absolute beginner to professional turner, we
welcome all.
We offer a mentoring program where volunteer turners will assist other members in all aspects of turning. From
felling a tree to finishing your work there is always someone who is willing to help.
Periodically we hold classes on turning specific items. We also bring in an occasional turner for a demonstration and hands-on workshop.
If you are interested in coming to a meeting to see what goes on please click on the "Contacts" button and email one of our officers.
