The hollowing goes fast |

The inside is sanded and a large live center is used for support |

With the top finished the rings are marked off |

The tops and sides of the rings are finished while they are still attached |

A scraper is used to undercut the rings |
 |
A piece of sandpaper is taped to the stem to finish the inside of the rings |
 |
Jim tapes the rings to the upper portion of the cup to get them out of the way |
 |
The base is finished |
