There was a light turnout on a very hot day

Kurt Hertzog brought pens and blanks for show and tell

Jed Donahue shows a huge vase

Jed did the demo on craft items

After turning the ends Jed bandsaws doorstops in half

Whistle blanks were drilled, bandsawed and the sanded dowel inserted before turning

The whistle is decorated while on the lathe

The next demo was bottle stoppers

Jed turned this and then applied the finish immediately

Jim Hilburger had an area for tops

With four lathes set up everyone went to the stations to try their hand at some new projects
