The demo was fluting by Paul Mazuchowski

He made an adjustable table to fit the lathe

A die grinder with a sanding drum is used to flute the turnings

Most members stayed for the demo

He uses an indexing ring on the headstock for aligning the flutes

The depth is determined by the diameter of the drum

The angle of the table is adjustable for a spiral effect

Paul took questions after a great demo
