There was a good showing for the meeting

People brought a nice variety of show and tell items

Rich Mialki started with a pair of bowls

John O'Neil turned a cherry platter

Bob Sonner made candlestick bases

A hollow form by Rick Crowe

A lidded box by Jake Debski

Rich Mialki did the demo

He showed how to make miniature turnings

You have to work from the tailstock to the headstock

The heavier work needs to be done while there is adequate support

First hollowing, then shaping then sanding
