The blank is chucked and the outside is turned

John power sands for a nice finish

The outside is finished before parting off

The inside is hollowed using a forstner bit

He drills just a little deeper than the length of the ring

The inside is sanded and finished

It is parted off and completed

A beautiful addition to the dinner table
